The first site I built was for my recording studio, Fat Tracks Recording. It was an ugly site built with an ugly IDE (DreamWeaver 2) and, save for putting Eclipse through some paces with Zend Studio, I haven't used an IDE for web development since.

XCode and Flex Builder, though, have each found their way into my workflow at times. And when I started learning OOP in '99 and '00, it was with Java and Apple's Web Objects. At the time, a deployment license for Web Objects was around 80 grand. Fortunately, I worked at Apple and got to use the tools for free.
